We are currently looking to recruit a Caretaker to join the school site team in carrying out day to day general maintenance, including Health & Safety management.


The school will expect you to:

  • Carry out general maintenance of the school as well as litter picking
  • Carrying out odd jobs
  • Be responsible for Key Holding


The post holder will be able to work independently and as a team to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.


About Us:

We are looking for a new caretaker who is keen to join a friendly team of staff and help to keep our school building in tip top shape.


Our school is almost 70 years old so requires a lot of tender loving care All staff are committed to ensuring we create an environment that is comfortable, safe and inspirational for staff, pupils and parents.


The role will consist of opening and closing the building, health and safety responsibilities, ordering of cleaning stock, general maintenance and a willingness to continually develop yourself through training.

Alongside the above duties, we would hope you are happy to climb a ladder, use a hammer and drill and be handy with a hoover
