WE Talent are currently seeking a talented and experienced Billing Controller to join our client, a global Marcomms business.
As the Billing Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the billing process, including WIP management, SOX compliance, and billing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the billing process from start to finish, including invoice creation, distribution, and collections.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing of all client accounts, following up on any discrepancies or outstanding payments with tact and diplomacy.
- Monitor and manage Work-InProgress (WIP) by analysing and reporting on WIP aging to ensure timely invoicing and collections.
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and audit requirements related to billing and collections.
- Completion and running of reports
- Updating the revenue document
- Preparing project and general journals for the mid and monthend processes
- Reviewing budget templates
- Chasing timesheets and approvals
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams to resolve billingrelated issues.
- Implement process improvements to enhance billing accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Experience in billing, invoicing, or related accounting function essential
- Strong knowledge and experience of WIP management essential
- Experience with SOX compliance and audit requirements desirable
- A background in working within the Marketing and/or Communications sector desirable
- Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills essential
- Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software essential

£35,000.00 per year
