Financial Accountant
Job role

Can be part time (up to £19 per hour) or full time (up to £36k pa based on 36 hours) role has become available due to company portfolio growth.

This is an opportunity to be a part of a small but excellent finance team working for an extremely friendly but ambitiouscompany with a ranged portfolio (predominantly property).

The duties will include:

Reconciliations of entities and transfer onto our new accounting system (initially).
Maintaining the accounting software ensuring it is kept up to date.
Preparation of financial accounts including preparing a excel based workbook with supporting schedules and evidence ready the financial controllers review. Which will then be made available for the auditors.
Compile financial reports / summaries
Other ad hoc accounts duties as requested.

Key skills and experience requirements:

Good understanding of financial accounts and double entry bookkeeping
Experience of working in an accounts office is essential
Experience of Propman is preferred but not essential if other accounting systems used.
A strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
Needs to be a fast learner, have excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
Motivated, hardworking and punctual
ACCA part / full qualification preferred.
Able to work effectively under pressure as part of a team or individually
