Skills Required:


  • Inspection of in house manufactured and bought in parts. All items dimensionally inspected to be reported with all reports to be 100% accurate regarding all recorded data.
  • 100% measurement of all drawing features, where feasible, including but not limited to, surface roughness, rads, threads etc to be measured and reported.
  • Zero escapes of deficient components to other operational areas of the business or the customers.
  • To minimise any measurement uncertainty, ensure 100% of measuring equipment in the workshop/Q-Pulse is within calibration due date, is fit for purpose and is being used appropriately.
  • Compliance with processes and procedures 1 audit per month to be undertaken. This can be an ISO system audit, a supplier audit, the calibration system or calibrated equipment usage log.

Education:


  • Time served craftsperson Educated to NVQ Level
  • Previous QC experience essential
- experience of calibration and adjustment of manual measuring equipment desired.
