Description

To lead the service, in collaboration with the Clinical Leads, Associate Director, Consultant Psychiatrist, and Lead Psychologist to promote a culture based on principles of recovery, choice and personalised care.


To provide leadership for a large multi-disciplinary team, including psychologists, doctors, occupational therapists, nursery nurses, STR workers and social workers.

To ensure the service works in line with agreed pathways, national and Trust policies and guidelines, and is focussed on the delivery of key performance and clinical outcomes


To co-ordinate the management of the teams, ensuring effective training, ongoing professional development and professional supervision is maintained for all staff and to ensure that the physical and mental health, safety and wellbeing of staff in the service is maximised, enabling them to make a positive contribution to their work and home lives.

RMN qualification and evidence of registration on Part 3 of NMC register or BSc (Hons) or equivalent or Occupational Therapy degree/diploma and or HCPC Registered OR Dip.

SW, CQSW or equivalent qualification recognised by General Social Care Council, including evidence of current Social Work England Registration.

Experience of leading or making significant contributions to quality improvement projects in a clinical setting

Experience of leading clinical services through significant service change and transformation

Experience of working collaboratively across systems with key stakeholders

Relevant experience in the line management of staff including recruiting, supervising and performance managing staff within own and/or other disciplines

Experience of effective management of resources and good track-record with change management, efficiency savings and financial recovery plans

To work closely with our well-established People Participation Group (Expert by Experience) and have a strong ethos of co-production
