Are you a Lead Production Planner looking for a new challenge? Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a client based in Newcastle with the appointment of a Lead Production Planner.

We are looking for somebody with previous production planning experience who can bring their knowledge and expertise into a new company.


On offer is an excellent opportunity to step up into a role within a growing business, where you will take responsibility for a team of production planners.

We are looking for somebody with production planning experience within a manufacturing environment. New ideas and ways of working are welcomed

This person must be highly organised, have a focus on long-term development and have problem solving skills.


Responsibilities include:


  • Drive activities to meet KPI targets to reduce inventory and supply chain costs.
  • Deliver a robust and executable operational plan based on available material and capacity in close collaboration with the production team.
  • Evaluate current production planning process and initiate improvements to standardise across the business.
  • Full people management responsibility for 3 direct reports for example, annual appraisals, performance management, absence management.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organised and detail oriented.
  • Focuses on long term results.
  • MRP experience.
