Production Manager, Salisbury, £35,000 - £40,000
The purpose of this role

As Production Manager you will be leading the production team, supporting the business in their growth plan.

As Production Manager
you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the team, introducing KPIs and evaluating individual performance
  • Introducing Lean manufacturing methods to ensure continuous improvement, implementing the 5s working system
  • Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvement including introduction of new systems
  • Monitoring machine maintenance, identifying opportunities for new machines/equipment
  • Organising production schedules and coordinating all activity
  • Ensuring all staff have undertaken all relevant and required training

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
  • Leadership skills, being able to demonstrate the ability to lead and manage a team
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
