Description

We are looking for a Head of Manufacturing Operations to join our Harvey Water Softeners supply chain team based at the head office in Old Woking.

This role is responsible for organising and overseeing the Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain departments.

You will report to and be a key partner to our General Manager and work closely with the Harvey Senior Leadership team as well as key stakeholders in the UK and globally within Culligan.

As our Head of Manufacturing Operations, you will have proven people and performance management experience and be able to quickly build rapport, credibility, and trust within a manufacturing operations environment.

You will share knowledge with leaders to equip them to direct their teams in the right way and continue to drive performance to achieve business results.

Main responsibilities:

Business lead for Culligan procurement alignment working with the Global and EMEA teams to maximise intercompany opportunities and leveraging global spends
Support the system integration with new business acquired (COD's)
Support the operational lead embedding SI&OP process.
Work with the operational lead to analyse sales trends and identify the key drivers of sales of key products. Communicating with sales function to ensure business alignment.
Lead rootcauseanalysis initiatives and formulate actions and plans
Track quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
Participate in planning sessions for future capacity requirements
Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems and take ownership to ensure we are maximising systems to full potential.
A business lead for global standards alignment, working with the global and EMEA teams to implement Culligan business standards.
Management of the production/supply of the salt channel, working with suppliers to ensure current and future supply.
Operational lead for continuous improvement programme working with your team and aligning with Culligan standards to optimise operational performance.
Operational lead for maintaining budget performance and working with the leadership team to support budget forecast and creation of budget.
Operational lead for Capex request and lead for business case creation and sign off process.
Operational lead for Strategic Deployment Process (SDP) business program
Monthly reporting, and Counter measures for any programs not achieving KPI targets.
HWS Business lead to ensure all manufactured products meet required compliance standards and these standards are maintained (KIWA/WRAS)
Support business with supply to intercompany process.
