We are looking for a part-time Phlebotomy Tutor/Assessor to join our successful delivery team.If you are currently working as a Phlebotomist and looking to use your technical skills, experience, and knowledge to teach more people to become phlebotomists, we would like to hear from you.
Here are some of the other duties that you will be responsible for:
- Teach assigned courses following the approved guidelines
- Prepare students for clinical session using dummy
- Train students for their clinical session to ensure they pass and fit to be a qualified Phlebotomist.
- Ensure that course content and objectives are met
- Utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate the diverse learning styles of students
- Actively challenge and engage students to encourage participation and learning, while maintaining mutual value and respect
- Administer and assess course objectives
- Provide guidance and academic support to students
- Actively work to maintain student retention within the program
- Maintain accurate attendance records and call on or followup with absent students
- Respond to student questions and inquiries in a timely manner
- Uphold the highest levels of professionalism and ethical conduct
To be selected for this role you must be an experienced Phlebotomist and ideally currently working in this role at a senior level.
Here are some of the requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of Phlebotomy work experience.
- Must have demostratable academic achievement, skills and knowledge.
- Ideally currently still working as Phlebotomist in a clinical settings.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must have excellent English speaking and writing skills.
- Ideally have a teaching qualification or must be willing to gain teaching qualification.

£15.00-£20.00 per hour
