    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced insurance technology sales professional to join our Sales team as an Account Director. This role can be carried out remotely, but there will be occasional travel to our Uxbridge office required.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Achieve annual quotas for all products, with a focus on generating incremental sales within a small number of our largest P&C clients in the UK.
    • Undertake lead generation activities to drive penetration of target organisations, drawing on resources from business development, marketing and partners as needed.
    • Assess and qualify opportunities to ensure effective sales effort and resource expenditure.
    • Develop and execute individual account plans detailing opportunity and sales strategy for increased wallet share spend.
    • Drive the sales process through each stage of the sales cycle, including qualification, development, solution and prove through to close.
    • Manage pre-sales resources to develop compelling business cases justifying investment in Sapiens' solutions.
    • Engage with Regional Sales Director, Senior Business management and 'C' level executives to progress sales opportunities.
    • Manage key stakeholders within allocated clients through regular review meetings and contact.
    • Produce accurate monthly forecasts of pending business to enable sales management to consolidate accurate forecasts.
    • Act as a professional ambassador for Sapiens, communicating company ethos to prospects and customers.
    • Attend seminars, exhibitions and trade shows as required.

    Requirements:

    • Extensive sales and account management experience within the Insurance market, ideally in the P&C segment.
    • Proven track record of closing high-value deals (£3M+) and growing sustainable revenues within client base.
    • Practical experience of dealing at 'C' level (presentations to and relationships with).
    • General business understanding of Insurance, including technology and platforms available.
    • Knowledge of Managed Services and Application Outsourcing, with experience selling these types of solutions an advantage.
    • Ability to lead and guide a pre-sales team to successful business wins.
    • Consultative selling approach, able to work with colleagues within the client's buyer network and craft solutions providing business benefits.
    • Understanding of how projects are planned and executed.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
    • Self-starter, highly motivated and driven to succeed.
    • Ability to work as a team leader and team member, displaying tact and diplomacy in sensitive situations.
    • Results-orientated, who gets things done in the face of adversity.
    • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK and Europe.
