This role is hybrid and could be based in either our Wythall, Edinburgh or London offices with time spent working in the office and at home.


Flexible working:

Salary and benefits:
£30,500 - £41,000 depending on qualifications and experience, plus 8% bonus up to 16%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more


We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as a Asset Management Compliance Analyst/ Consultant to join our Asset Management Compliance team within Group Risk.

The role
The main purpose of the role is to assist and support the Phoenix Asset Management Compliance team in ensuring all the business activities are carried out in compliance to the relevant rules and regulations, including:

  • To take ownership for the EMIR oversight and Compliance input
  • To assist the team with ad hoc projects and BAU activities (e.g. monitoring)

What are we looking for?


You could be a recent Law Graduate looking for an role where you can use your skills to analyse documents or you may have experience in EMIR and derivatives.


  • A law degree; or experience in EMIR
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, work independently but also as part of a direct and broader Risk team and contribute to the effective coordination of compliance team
  • Ability to find solutions, legal and analytical thinking and develop logical, practical and efficient approach
