As the Classic Service Advisor, you will deliver operational effectiveness and support customer servicing through coordination of service processes, from enquiry, to sale of service and throughout ownership.
The role will provide seamless and efficient support to the Service and Workshop team, enabling a luxury customer journey, and will produce data and insights to drive operational improvements.
3 days per week at the home of Classic Works in Warwickshire and offers remote working on a flexible basis, determined by business need.
You will be working with our Sales and Service teams in the UK, the Workshop team, in addition to the wider Commercial and Finance teamKey accountabilities and responsibilities:
- Lead service administration, including invoicing within Dealer Management System and customer payments.
- Deliver overall customer support process, by managing inbound enquiries, bookings, invoicing and delivering endtoend service projects including customer handover
- Maintain data integrity in all systems, including customer records and welldocumented processes
- Manage the progression of service work through strong relationships with Operations and Job Card management, including review of additionally identified work and providing direct customer contact
- Report upon service profitability and KPIs, using data to present trends and recommendations. Work closely with Finance to ensure true financial reporting
- Coordinate service customer handover preparation, including transport, service books and paperwork
- Coordinate service campaigns to schedule workshop activity and support customer liaison
- Contribute to the development of future Classic vehicle programmes' service planning, working closely with the Retail Planning Specialist and Sales and Service Operations Manager.
- Support crossfunctionally to resolve customer service issues, e.g. warranty claims
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To be successful in this role you'll have an understanding of classic vehicles and previous experience in a service/workshop environment.
You will have experience in retail invoicing processes and, ideally, knowledge of a Dealer Management system.
As a proactive member of the team, you'll have the ability to deliver in a highly demanding environment and organise your work to prioritise customer requirements.
You'll also need:
- A robust technical understanding and eye for detail
- Ability to advise customers on their vehicle requirements
- Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise with customers as required
- Proven experience producing dataled reports to provide financial reporting.
- Ability to drive classic vehicles desirable
