The Role:
As a
SENCO you will have the unique opportunity to work across a variety of schools in the trust, collaborating with dedicated colleagues to make a positive difference in the lives of students with special educational needs
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing effective strategies for supporting students with SEND.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create individualised education plans.
- Providing guidance and training to staff on best practices in SEND.
- Ensuring compliance with SEND regulations and policies.
- Contributing to the overall development of inclusive practices within the MAT.
Requirements:
- Qualified
SENCO status (National Award for SEND Coordinators or equivalent) - Proven experience in a
SENCO role. - A passion for inclusive education and the wellbeing of students with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
