  • Do you love creating digital content that helps people? Do you want to utilise your website skills to help end youth homelessness? Do you love websites? If this sounds like you, then we need to hear from you _

We're Centrepoint - the UK's leading organisation working to end youth homelessness - and we're looking for a skilled Senior Website and Digital Content Officer to join our Communications and Marketing team and take the lead on our new website to reach new audiences.

We have a massive challenge. Last year, there were 129,000 young people who approached their local council because they were homeless.

While we connect thousands of young people to emergency accommodation, advice and support every year - that's not good enough.

We want to be there for everyone that needs help.

That's why we want to work with a talented person to help us become the leading online information resource for young people facing homelessness.

We also want to be front of mind for the amazing people who want to help us end youth homelessness:

so this role will involve lots of engagement with different groups to make sure that we're creating audience-led content and user journeys that people want and need.

Here are a few of the exciting areas this role will focus on:

  • Researching, creating and uploading new content to our website.
  • Working with experts to optimise and improve existing content.
  • Carrying out audience research to improve user journeys and content.
  • Reporting on performance using analytics tools, including Google Analytics
  • Managing agency relationships to support digital goals.

At Centrepoint, we want to create an organisation that's aligned to our values; one that's inclusive, productive, and engaged with our vision to end youth homelessness.

And that starts with supporting the people who work here to be as healthy and financially resilient as possible.

Here are some of the ways we'll support you:

  • 25 days of annual leave per year, rising by one day per year to a maximum of 27 days
  • Healthcare cash plan
  • Private Medical insurance
  • Income protection
  • Employer pension contributions of 5%
  • Clear career progressions, linked to portfolio work, that enables movement up the pay scale
  • Access to Cycle 2 Work loan scheme
  • An interestfree travel loan
  • At Centrepoint we challenge the discrimination within society that contributes to youth homelessness, and we are just as committed to fairness and equality within Centrepoint itself. We are passionate about ensuring all of our colleagues are made to feel included in the work we do and that we value the rich diversity within the organization._
  • Centrepoint's policy is to recruit, employ and promote people on the basis of their suitability for the work to be performed, and to this end, our aim is to ensure that all applicants, employees and volunteers receive equal treatment._
