As a Barclays Executive Assistant this is an exciting opportunity where you'll provide EA support to the Group Finance Technology (GFT) leadership team - helping to ensure the end to day functions are carried out efficiently and effectively.
GFT covers the delivery of programs and services that helps the core group finance business processes including planning, general ledger, regulatory reporting, consolidation, cost and MI/analytics.

Working Flexibly
What will you be doing?:
- Extensive diary management including accurate scheduling of meetings, room bookings and organizing refreshments or catering services where applicable.
- Managing new joiner/leaver procedure for key roles, equipment, security passes and computer logins.
- Collating all holiday requests for the Director(s) direct team to ensure review and appropriate approval.
- Managing and scheduling meetings, ensuring the diary is up to date, using judgment to prioritize meetings, requests from both internal and external stakeholders
- Acting as main point of contact, managing all incoming queries and acting upon requests in an effective and efficient manner and escalating queries when necessary
- Responding to resolve a wide range of queries, channeling to the appropriate area thereby leaving Director free to concentrate on only the most important matters.
- Providing general administrative support; typing of general correspondence, compile agendas, circulate meeting papers, take and transcribe minutes
What we're looking for:
- Excellent EA skills supporting at Director and/or MD level preferable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- High level of skill/competency in relevant IT packages e.g., Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Proven ability to multitask a highly productive, proactive/reactive individual with the ability to turn around tasks quickly
