Description
Account Handler required to join a very well-established insurance broker due to the growth of its small business unit.


You will be managing a book of renewals, which include some new business, and handling any mid-term adjustments to cover.

The role entails dealing with SME clients across a range of industry sectors.

You will be responsible for determining the best cover to suit the needs of the client which may include products such as Liabilities, Commercial Property and Motor Fleet.

You will need to organise and check insurance policy documentation, ensuring that policy coverage is adequate as well as dealing client queries effectively and in a professional manner.


You will need a good level of general insurance knowledge for this role and any experience in dealing with small business clients would be an advantage.

Any previous experience in personal lines insurance will also be considered. You will need strong attention to detail and be able to demonstrate strong negotiation and communication skills. Furthermore, you will need to be able to build rapport to develop strong client and insurer relationships.

Salary:
£26,500.00-£32,500.00 per year
