Joining an existing training team responsible for delivering a range of established training courses for our Powerproject software & associated products to our clients, as well as designing & planning content to meet specific client requirements

The Company's software solutions are used throughout the building lifecycle from early planning and design stages through to construction, interior fit out, asset management and facilities management to support project management, project scheduling, cost estimation, visualisation, Building Information Modelling (BIM) and property management.


This is a great opportunity to join a successful public listed company as we seek to appoint a Software Trainer who will deliver on customer requirements for services across the organisation to support our strategic goals.


  • Key responsibilities:
  • To gain & maintain an in-depth knowledge of the company's software products.
  • To assist with the design and production of training materials for the company's products and related courses.
  • To deliver online, classroom and onsite training courses to our customers.
  • Administer & coordinate various training courses.
  • Provide guidance on installation, setup, and operation of Asta Powerproject software on a consultancy basis where required.
  • Conduct online Teams / Zoom sessions with customers.
  • Assist in maintaining training manuals, produce certificates and manage followup.
  • Reporting to management on training challenges and gap analysis.
  • Aid in gathering requirements from customers for future product enhancements.
  • General adhoc training projects as required.
  • To liaise with members of other Departments supplying services to the Sales function.
  • To keep an uptodate record of client feedback and maintain training records in the CRM system.
  • Essential skills/ prerequisites:
  • Experience of delivering training courses to delegates with a range of abilities.
  • Previous software training experience or other customer facing role.
  • Experience of online training.
  • Ability to learn quickly, highlight features & benefits of a product & communicate instructions.
  • A methodical approach with the ability to work independently to understand the functional workings of software then explain this simply to others.
  • Good people skills & enjoy working as part of a team with a shared objective & vision.
  • Effective communication skills with good written and spoken English.
  • Confident manner & professional approach.
  • Experience of developing training courses and producing relevant supporting documentation.
  • Desirable skills:
  • Experience in Project Planning Software.
  • A highlevel construction background with relevant experience.
  • Have an appetite to be involved with Learning Management System content creation.

  • Working hours and location:
The normal working hours are from Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch (37.5-hour week).

From time to time, you may be required to work additional hours to fully perform your job in accordance with the needs of the business.

Elecosoft offers flexible working based from one of our three UK locations of Haddenham, Southampton and Market Harborough.
