I am delighted to represent a well-established business in Gateshead, that are looking for a part-time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on a permanent basis.


The role is to start as soon as possible, with the option to work either 3 or 4 days per week.

Hybrid working will be considered after completing probation.

Experience in a similar role is essential, however training on systems will be provided. Salary will be up to £25,000 per annum (pro rata).


Key Duties:


  • Processing purchase invoices, accurately coding up and resolving any invoice approval issues.
  • Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within purchase ledger.
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Process credit card statements and expenses.
  • Prepare for weekly payment runs.
  • Maintain existing spreadsheets.
  • Other ad hoc duties to support the finance team.
