Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Reporting to the Supply Chain Management Lead.
  • This role will deliver the implementation of SCM strategy. Supporting people/process/system development for supplier engagement, mapping and risk monitoring.
  • Daily management of internal and external SCM.
  • Support in professional development across the company, as well as the recruitment process.
  • Undertake Supply Chain Mapping to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks in the market place.
  • Lead market sourcing exercises and meetings, workshops and engagement events.

Work Experience Requirements:


  • Member or working towards a CIPS accreditation.
  • Experience of managing a SCM or supplier engagement programme public or private sector knowledge of government initiatives, polices and best practices (OJEU).
  • Project scheduling and planning.
  • Knowledge of commercial and contract delivery lifecycles.
  • Experience within a procurement, financial or commercial governance structure.
  • Managing a team.
  • Large projects/matrix organizational structure.

Salary:
£53,850 - £67, % flex fund.

Location:
Birmingham - (2 Days onsite per week).
