Our clinical team comprises of Emergency Consultants, Middle grade and Junior Doctors, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Emergency Nurse Practitioners and a dedicated Practice Development team.

It is an exciting time of change here; with our new hospital on the horizon and our recent partnership with Aintree Hospital, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our already established team in the Emergency Department at the Royal Hospital site.

We are seeking remarkable individuals who are committed to providing excellent direct independent clinical practice, whilst demonstrating a willingness to share their extensive knowledge / experience with the wider clinical team.

The post holder will practice as an autonomous Advanced Clinical Practitioner within the Acute and Emergency Care.

Working alongside senior medical team, the post holder will examine, assess, diagnose and treat patients within their scope of professional practice.

The job is practically based, intended to ensure skills and knowledge are related to high quality care and efficient service delivery, including achievement of national targets.

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.

The merger provides an opportunity to reconfigure services in a way that provides the best healthcare services to the city and improves the quality of care and health outcomes that patients experience.

The Trust runs Aintree University Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital, Liverpool University Dental Hospital and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

It serves a core population of around 630,000 people across Merseyside as well as providing a range of highly specialist services to a catchment area of more than two million people in the North West region and beyond.
