St Peter's Hospice is a local charity that provides care and support to adults who are living with a progressive life-limiting illness in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset area.

Our support is focused around the physical, psychological, social and spiritual issues that can arise as a result of serious illness, in order to improve the quality of a person's life.

Everyone is unique, and we provide support with that in mind.

The details:

Salary: £26,932 £29,925 FTE per annum, dependant on experience
Working: hours per week, Monday to Friday, to be discussed at interview
Permanent position
Based at our Long Ashton office with the option of hybrid working

Key responsibilities:

Supporting the Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager to develop our trust and grant strategy
Providing excellent stewardship, by scheduling and writing reports for our funders
Building relationships with the Hospice team, to understand their work, helping you write compelling proposals
Using your analytical skills to search for new and exciting funding opportunities
Working with the wider fundraising team to plan annual stewardship events for trust and grant supporters

What we are looking for:

Strong written skills to create powerful and compelling cases for support
You'll have the ability to develop great relationships with trust and grant leads
Are you highly organised with a great eye for detail?
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Passionate about the work of St Peter's Hospice
