Description

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Technician to join our Maintenance team of ten in Haverhill, UK.

You will conduct Electrical & Instrument (E&I) maintenance activities across the plant and site to ensure we can deliver activepharmaceutical ingredients to our customers.


Your Responsibilities

You will:

  • Complete Electrical & Instrument maintenance activities to ensure production demands are met through the implementation of maintenance strategies on both process equipment and site facilities.
  • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice, safety, quality and validation protocols at all times.
  • Use predictive techniques to minimise maintenance costs and equipment downtime.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and facilities failures and remediate identified issues.
  • Provide core electrical support on plant and site utility systems (Motors & Drives, L.
V control, distribution systems, electrical statutory testing & depending on specialism:
instrumentation, PLCs, HVAC, Refrigeration & Air distribution).

  • Ensure adherence to daily safesystemsofwork such as permittowork, safeplanofaction & LOTO.
  • Support the development of knowledge across the team and promote new ways to work.

The EUROAPI Haverhill (UK) site has been established for 40 years and is located 15 miles east of Cambridge and 60 miles north of London, within the golden triangle.

It employs over 250 people and has built a strong reputation in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient(API) Spray Drying and Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO).

Haverhill is proud to house the world's largest, continuous production, pharmaceutical spray dryer and performs secondary packaging and release activities for oncology and raredisease medicines supporting global markets.

The site is also developing a contract testing and release facility within its laboratories.


Our Requirements
Core electrical qualification - City & Guilds / NVQ certificate or equivalent. Experience in manufacturing, regulated industries, pharmaceuticals or chemicals would be preferred.
Excellent communication skills for the purposes of communicating with stakeholders, suppliers, technical help centers and colleagues.

A team focused mindset supporting the broader maintenance team and organisational goals, taking on overtime when required and supporting the on-call rota Friday-Friday.
