Description

We are seeking to recruit an immigration caseworker for our busy and friendly firm of solicitors in North West London, which has been under the directorship of Mrs Safeena J Khan since 2018.

The role of immigration caseworker in our office will require a minimum of two years' experience. Please ensure that you meet this requirement before replying.


The post holder is expected to undertake relevant training as and when required and keep their office digital training record updated.

A full induction will be given in all aspects of the post.


Requirements:

LSC Level 2 accredited or proven immigration experience in the areas set out below:

  • Ideally based in London or willing to travel to London office.
  • Good legal writing and drafting skills, and IT and Microsoft Office literate
  • Experience using case management software
  • Able to remain productive under pressure and comply with all deadlines

Must have experience in the following:

  • Immigration (all types of entry clearance visas, further leave to remain and indefinite leave to remain).
  • Appeals (all types of appeals at Firsttier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal)
  • Asylum (preasylum interview, interview attendance, fresh claims)
  • EUSS Law

Desirable:

  • PBS (Tier 1 investor and entrepreneur visa, Tier 2, Tier 4, sponsorship licences)
  • Ancestry (British passports)
  • Able to prepare Judicial Review bundles

Responsibilities:


  • Provide correct advice to clients.
  • Deal with all types of visa categories
  • Advise, assess and collect relevant documents for immigration process
  • Liaise closely with other fee earners in the team and with clients
  • Stay uptodate with the latest relevant legislation and policy changes
  • Comply and deliver with set deadlines

Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
