The Care Team Support performs a variety of administrative and care duties.The Care Team Support is expected to answer telephone calls, complete administrative duties, provide care for Clients as required and supports with a variety of tasks to provide the highest quality service to Clients.
The Role
- Support Care Professionals in their daytoday role
- Provide quality introductions and support with medication.
- Provide care for Clients as required.
- Provide support to the Care Director and the Care Team in all aspects of the business.
- Being part of the On-Call Rota
- Answer telephones calls in a polite professional manner, passing on clear messages and actioning messages where appropriate.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Maintain and uphold company standards and ethos.
- Ensure compliance with Home Instead's Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy, in respect of employment and service delivery.
Person Specification
- Able to demonstrate dedication and ownership to complete allocated work tasks.
- Good clear telephone manner with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good planning, time management and organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Goal Orientated and an ability to cope within a fastchanging environment.
- Smart, professional appearance
Additional Information Essentials**:
- Must have clear DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service).
- Driving licence and use of a car on a daily basis
- Must have experience in office administration. Good understanding of all Microsoft office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) and using a variety of technology.
The Care Team Support works 5 out of 7 days on a rota system which will include some weekend and evening work.
Salary:
£23,000 per annum plus additional on call payment
