ROLE - Mechanical Design Engineer

SALARY - £25,000 - £30,000, dependent on experience

TYPE - Permanent

LOCATION - Clacton, Essex
My client works in the Manufacturing sector.

They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in the Essex area on a permanent basis.

The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ / Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Design or similar
Proficient with using 3D CAD
SolidWorks or similar
Knowledge of different materials
Innovative, accurate and passionate about design
Be technically minded with a head for problem solving
Excellent leadership and organisational skills
Able to work well individually as well as part of a team

The Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve:

Working with Designers on to improve existing products and work on NPD
Using Solidworks for design on a daytoday basis
Liaising with clients and developing solutions for design specifications
Collaborating with different departments to ensure the smooth delivery of projects
Maintaining technical drawings and documentation
Providing technical guidance and support
