Our client is a rapidly growing retailer with over 180 stores in the UK and a growing online and international business.

They have ambitious plans for further growth across both the UK & International markets and are well known for their customer centricapproach and ethics.

They are now looking for a Marketing Executive to be based out of their brand-new head office in Amersham.
As thier Marketing Executive you'll be delivering retail marketing and promotional activity to their stores to drive sales. This will include helpingto deliver promotional campaigns with POS, publications and large and small format print.

As Marketing Executive you will be responsible for enriching and executing brands in store, optimising the in-store impact of POS and publications whilst working withthe rest of the marketing team to ensure the consistency of brand across all marketing materials.

The role will require occasional travel to stores so a driving license is required, ideally with 12 months+ experience.


Marketing Executive - Responsibilities

  • Manage specified POS and publications projects through the endtoend process.
  • Responsible for the planning of POS work into suppliers & licensors and the internal Design team ensuring delivery of projects on time and to budget.
  • Manage the print budget for each campaign period obtaining quotes from suppliers and negotiating best price.
  • Liaising with stores and Retail Ops to ensure they have all the elements required to deliver the marketing campaigns.
  • Work with internal and external designers to create POS content. Support the planning and production process and lead the development, delivery and implementation of all POS.
  • Work with external licensors, and suppliers to ensure delivery of POS material on time and to budget.
  • Manage the approval of assets with relevant stakeholders. Review the creative at every stage of production and manage final signoff.
  • Maintain awareness of competitor activity and make recommendations for implementation.
  • Planning and execution of audio systems including store voice overs, and playlist updates in accordance with the marketing strategy and promotional campaigns.
  • Manage store merchandising supplies, and gift cards including managing storage, stock levels and requests from stores.
  • To support on key initiatives, branch openings and concept development.

Marketing Executive - Required Skills

  • Ideally a degree or equivalent qualification and some experience within a marketing or print environment.
  • Experience of managing budgets and projects is advantageous although not essential.
  • Experience with MS Office, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Ambition, drive and exceptional organisational skills.
  • A basic understanding of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop is also desirable but not essential.


This Retail Marketing Executive role offers the chance to add immediate value with your skillset in a rapidly growing and evolving business.

The role is predominantly head office based with the option of six days per calendar month home working.

You may have gained your previous experience as a POS Marketing Assistant or Print Marketing Assistant.

The role could also be an ideal next step for a marketing graduate with placement or first role experience and an interest in retail marketing, printor POS.
