Due to continued growth in our level of sales activity, a vacancy exists within our Presales Department for a Presales Consultant.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Presales is a customer facing role, supporting the UK New Business and Account Management teams
  • Undertake business discovery sessions, to gain a thorough understanding of business requirements, and documenting their outcome
  • Building and presenting software presentations that demonstrate to our customers that our solutions can meet and exceed their requirements and provide business benefit
  • Ensuring that the latest developments are incorporated into our demonstration and working closely with the product teams to adopt new features as well as set up and document these on the demonstration systems
  • Work with Marketing to create and deliver webinars and customer conference presentations
  • Aiding in the completion of Bid documentation such as RFI/RFP
  • Completion of Project Estimations and Statements of Work for contract completion
  • Maintaining and enhancing the core demonstration data sets in order to ensure that our systems best represents a live trading environment.
  • Working closely with our Professional Services Group (PSG), Support and Development teams to develop customer propositions, you will ensure that the business understands the real customer requirements and will work closely to ensure that the best available solutions, some of which may be latest developments, are implemented to meet their need.
  • Ensuring that all presales requirements, information gathered, and demonstrations are documented to provide a handover to PSG and the rest of the business

Key Requirements:


  • A good working knowledge of the K8 and its supporting software
  • Knowledge and experience of KCS Distributive trade core markets
  • Previous presales experience
  • This role will involve UKI travel and therefore a valid UK driving licence is essential.
