You will also be supported by your line manager at work and be provided with lots of on-the-job experience.


Main responsibilities:

• External student communication (e.g. postal marketing)
• Website updates and maintenance
• Helping manage our social media channels, planning, posting content and engaging with our online communities.
• Helping to organise our podcast recordings, editing each episode and publishing it.
• Help organise student events setting up campaigns, promotion, bookings, help with arrangements and follow up.
• Planning and producing additional marketing material such as flyers, brochures, videos, and magazines.
• Blog articles planning, sourcing content, production, SEO, and promotion
• Management of CRM data (ensuring compliance and accurate tagging)
• School liaison and events (Accountancy Summer School)
• Promotional material specifying and ordering (pens, bags, and ad hoc items)
• Design banners/social media images.
• Attend marketing meetings and take minutes.

Skills and Experience:

Full training and support will be provided in this role and so no previous experience in marketing is required.

It would be great if the successful applicant demonstrates:

• Passion for marketing and really wants a career in this sector.
• Enthusiasm for learning, wanting to ask questions and get involved bright and inquisitive with a hunger for learning.
• Interested in and familiar with social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tik Tok, YouTube, etc.) management.
• The desire to work independently and take responsibility.
• Effective time management and communication skills both verbal and written.
• Impeccable spelling, grammar, and use of the English language
• Strong creative skills with a keen eye for detail
• Happy to take feedback well and act on guidance given.
• Selfmotivated and highly organised with a high work ethic.

Desired qualifications:

2 x A levels grade D or above plus 5 GCSE's, grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths).

Working Hours, Pay & Benefits
This is a full-time integrated degree apprenticeship role.

Working patterns Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm hours per week). 3 days in Chelmsford office, 1 day working remotely/at events. 1 day study leave.

Degree study is through Anglia Ruskin University.

The degree modules are taught as a blended programme with 6-7 days per year at the campus in Chelmsford or Cambridge and online lectures and research.
