Senior Residential Care Worker.


Service:


Ofsted Regulated Residential Children's Home, Regulated for the care of EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulty) children - BRAND NEW service.


Salary:

Earnings of up to
£12.95 P/H + AN ENHANCED AND MARKET LEADING SLEEP IN RATE.


Hours:

Hours will vary per week, but this is a full-time role. There may be times when the Senior Residential Care Worker is expected to work outside of their typical hours.


Overview of the Role:


  • To mentor, support and coach new team members and draw upon your experience to manage any challenges that may arise.
  • For our children, you will provide emotional support, establish strong relationships, boundaries, and routines.
  • Create a warm and nurturing home environment.
  • You will promote each child and young person's needs, champion them and support them to fulfil their potential.
  • To perform sleepingin duties as required.
  • Contribute to the organisations on call system.
  • Thrive in a team environment and be flexible with the ability to work a rota pattern.

Essential Criteria:


  • QCF Level 3 Residential Childcare / Level 3 Diploma Children and Young People's Workforce.
  • Experience at senior care level, specifically within a residential home for children.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a Residential Children's Home setting.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in an appropriate manner.
  • A full UK driving license is desirable for this role.
