Qualified Management Accountant, Basingstoke up to £50k plus bonus and benefits

Venture Recruitment Partners are delighted to partner with a global brand in the recruitment of a Qualified Accountant to join their growing Finance function based on the outskirts of Basingstoke.

We are seeking a CIMA / ACA / ACCA Qualified Accountant who has worked for large, complex, preferably global business, to join a fast paced and rapidly growing team.

As part of the Global Record to Report team you will be responsible for the timely & accurateprocessing of the financial control, accounting and reporting activities, working across all finance departments and key stakeholders to support the financial reporting process.

The role would suit a career driven Management Accountant who is looking to develop and progress further.

Key responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly journals working closely with key business partners for the appropriate level of support;
Accurate and timely month end across international legal entities;
Preparation of monthend analysis and commentary for management reporting;
Main point of contact for external stakeholders;
Take responsibility to guide others and ensure outputs from across the team are to the required standard;
Completion of balance sheet reconciliations to support reviews with Finance managers and business partners;
Intercompany accounting and reconciliations, including an overview of group recharges and settlements in line with transfer pricing agreements;
Maintain financial controls;
Support the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly flash reports in line with the centralised reporting strategy;

About you:

Qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA with experience working for a complex, preferably global business.
Experience of working in a Shared Service role is an advantage.
Experience of management accounting to include month end process is a must
Experience of process / systems implementations is a real plus
Solid communication skills with an inquisitive nature and a proactive, positive approach is essential.
