As part of EMAS's commitment to ensure the Health and Wellbeing of its staff and that Equality, Diversity and Inclusion best practice is integrated into all our working practices, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Wellbeing and Inclusion Team.


This is an exciting opportunity to develop your experience in the two key areas of work including Health and Wellbeing, and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.


The ability to undertake research and support the development, promotion and implementation of Wellbeing and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policies and procedures will be key to the role.


The post holder must possess excellent organisational skills, be able to communicate and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders and has a genuine commitment to promoting Wellbeing and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion within EMAS.


The post will be at the forefront of providing a comprehensive and professional service to the managers and employees of the Trust with a particular focus on bringing together Health and Wellbeing, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and Staff Engagement activities; therefore, an ability to build good working relationships is pivotal.


You will be responsible for the development of key policies and procedures and project work linked to the Wellbeing and Inclusion agenda and support the development of bespoke and creative solutions to EDI challenges as well as meet the objectives contained within the HR and OD strategy, the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy and the Health, Wellbeing and Suicide Prevention strategy.


In addition, the post holder will be assigned to support corporate projects/campaigns such as the annual NHS Staff Opinion Survey, People Pulse Survey and the joint Influenza and COVID-19 booster vaccination campaign.

Providing support to organisational development colleagues in the delivery of education relating to wellbeing and inclusion.

Establish and maintain effective networks and partnerships both within and

external to the Trust to ensure that continuous development occurs, and best practice is incorporated within the Trust's wellbeing and inclusion policies and working practices.
