Workshop Working Supervisor


Location:
Bridgwater, Somerset.


Function:
Oversee & develop production facilities.


Salary Range:
£30k to £35k (dependent on qualifications and experience).


The Role:

You will be required to monitor and control workshop operations to ensure production times are consistently met in a smooth and efficient manner.

In this capacity, your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

• Monitor production processes.
• Organise and cross train team members.
• Trouble shoot any daily issues that arise.
• Foresee potential issues and suggest solutions.
• Assist with working towards eliminating sources of nonconformance.
• Assist with lean system improvements.
• Provide motivation, support and guidance to all production staff.
• Ensure company procedures are adhered to.

Key Attributes:

The job holder is required to:

• Have good experience within steel fabrication.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings.
• Able to lead and motivate a team to achieve daily objectives.
