Description

Due to increased work load I'm recruiting for an experienced Estimator for a regional contractor operating throughout the North East in a range of sectors including commercial, education, Defence and other projects.


Role
This position is being created as part of the planned growth.

Working closely with the commercial team you will be responsible for supporting in the preparation and winning of profitable work.

Work will also involve pricing from plans and specifications, taking account of labour as well as materials. The role also includes managing subcontract procurement, variations and valuations until the construction project is complete. The individual will ideally have experience working within a small, successful team to secure profitable work.

The individual will be experienced at managing deadlines and working in a fast paced environment with support from a Managing Estimator and the Group MD.


Experience Required
The individual will ideally have experience working within a collegiate, successful team to secure profitable work.

The individual will be experienced at managing deadlines and working in a fast paced environment with support from a senior commercial colleagues.

With experience in pricing construction work already.
