Role Purpose

This role supports the Group Reward Director and Group Reward Manager in the implementation of Group-wide reward projects and the management and delivery of the annual reward cycle.

The role will also partner with the Sector People Directors providing supportand advice on local reward customs and practices as well as leading on job evaluation, implementation of incentive schemes and, where required, global mobility.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the Group Reward Manager in the delivery of Group Reward projects providing a focus on the international businesses
  • Provide advice, guidance and insights to the Sector People team utilising incountry knowledge and expertise, influencing decisions
  • Job evaluation of new and existing roles working in partnership with internal stakeholders to ensure role alignment with organisational design
  • Manage the execution and delivery of the annual reward cycle and submissions to the Pay & Progression boards working collaboratively with the Sector People team
  • Analysis of Group Reward data and effective explanation of what it means
  • Support the preparation of data for external compensation and benefits surveys
  • Lead and manage the day to day running of the QinetiQ recognition platform
  • Provide cover to the Global Mobility Manager on international payroll signoff and execution
Key Capabilities/Knowledge

  • Strong business partnering and consultancy skills
  • Deep reward domain expertise with international experience (Australia, Canada, UK or US). Expertise of working in a UK PLC environment an advantage.
  • In depth skills in data analysis, modelling and automation with advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Knowledge and experience of SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay modules.
Experience & Qualifications

  • Experienced HR professional with significant reward expertise (5+ years)
  • Demonstrable and significant experience of working internationally, specifically Australia, with exposure to North American market an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • HR or numerically focussed degree (e.g. maths, engineering) or equivalent experience
