Hoyte Hope Care currently have a hospital in Solihull that are looking for a Principle Psychologist to join their Mental Health Rehabilitation team as soon as possible, 30 hrs per week.

The hospital has three wards that will require your attentiveness whilstalso providing the opportunity for remote/ flexible working.

You will use your skills and experience, to undertake the role as Principal Psychologist for a designated ward and/or group of patients as agreed with the head of psychology.

This includes assessment, formulation, intervention and evaluation in line with thepatient's presentation and care pathway.
You will be required to assess patients using appropriate assessments and psychometric measures and interpret and report results accurately. Some duties of the role include,

• To coordinate delivery of psychological assessment and intervention from other psychology staff including qualified psychologists, trainee psychologists, assistant psychologists and students and where appropriate to act as a point of liaison between theinpatient psychology pathway and the community psychology pathway
• To hold management, clinical and professional supervision responsibilities for junior psychology staff as directed by the Head of Psychology.
• Contribute to the development of evidencebased practices, strategies and policies as requested by the Head of Psychology.
• Conduct research, service evaluation and audit as appropriate as guided by the Head of Psychology and Senior Management Team
• Develop own skills and experience as a psychologist. Attend supervision (clinical, management and peer) and training as required. Complete developmental objectives set. Maintain record of supervision and development in accordance with HCPC CPD guidelines.
• Be HCPC registered
• Have at least 4 years post registration experience within a similar setting
• Exericse an understanding on the basic principles of rehabilitation and recovery orientated practice, including what constitutes effective rehabilitation & its key components, CBT psychosis, Family Interventions, structured psychological interventions (individual,group or family) for bipolar affective disorder.
