Part time position - reporting to Purchasing Manager

Job Overview:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a General Administration Assistant within our Purchasing/Export/Import department.


You will play a crucial role by assisting with various administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement process.

Offering assistance to the on a daily basis and learning the role to be in a position to carry out the tasks as required

Assisting the Purchasing Department in daily processes including stock analysis via internal MRP system and utilising Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft office programmes

Arranging and Progressing of Purchase Orders from suppliers

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Dealing with incoming shipments and logistics from Overseas suppliers and Freight forward agents.

Assisting in keeping Product Maintenance records up to date.

Knowledge of basic purchasing procedures and terminology is preferred but not essential as training will be provided

Assisting QA Department with paperwork


Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensuring the Health and Safety of yourself and your colleagues is of paramount importance in carrying out your duties

Liaising with Department Manager for Daily update of Tasks to be carried out

Liaising with suppliers on the delivery of special items
