Description

As a Security Officer, you will be working in a well-known shopping centre, providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike, as well as acting as a visual deterrent to help prevent/minimise stock loss.

As a retail security officer, you willnot be based in one store, you will be monitoring the whole shopping centre.

Based on of this you will need to be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time.

This shopping centre is partly based outside, therefore you will be provided with weatherproofuniform.

You will be representing BardWood and our client, providing a service to the highest standards in a fast paced, prestigious store.

The position requires you to have a high level of self-presentation, customer service & communication skills are essentialalong with a positive/helpful attitude.


Shift pattern: 45hrs, days - 12 hr shifts via 4 on 4 off

Rates:
£11.00

Role requirements:


  • Communication must be to the highest standards
  • Customer focus must be to the highest standards
  • 5year checkable work/career history.
  • Full confidence to be able to work in a oneman store.

Required duties:


  • Dealing with conflicts.
  • Being visual deterrent.
  • Greeting customers
  • Call Help in Emergency Situations, Circulate Among Visitors, Operate Theft Detecting Devices.

Essential skills needed:


  • Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
  • Physically fit to undertake given tasks
  • Enthusiastic in delivering service excellence
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure
  • Effective Communicator
