EY201 Project Manager (Electrical)

Location:
Waterlooville

Salary:
£50,000 + Excellent benefits

Monday to Friday (80% Office based 20% Site based)

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Project Manager on behalf of one of our clients.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage a team to ensure work is carried out in full conformance with quality, environmental and safety standards.
  • Undertake site audits to ensure works are complaint with design, overview on progress and produce reports.
  • Ensure the correct implementation of project and client specific requirements as well as correct purchase of plant and equipment.
  • Support the overall programming and planning of the projects.
  • Whilst the role has an electrical bias, you will be expected to have an understanding of both mechanical and processing systems.
  • Attend site meetings, effectively communicate and provide information for progress reports.
  • Operational support including review of procedures, best practices and initiatives.
  • Read, understand, produce and follow risk assessments and method statements.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Proven people management experience with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Experience as a Project Manager from an Electrical background.
  • Engineering background.
  • Knowledge and skills to effectively problem solve in a fastpaced environment.
  • 5+ years' related experience post qualification in installation, testing and commissioning, preferably in the UK water sector.
  • 18th Edition (preferable).
  • City & Guilds 2391 Test and Inspection (advantageous).
  • CSCS / ECS Gold card or can easily obtain one (preferable).
  • Engineering qualification (degree / HND / BTEC) or Apprenticeship in relevant trade.
  • EUSR clean water card (preferable).
