We are recruiting on behalf on an industry leading polymers manufacturer based in West Yorkshire, for an Area Sales Manager to cover the London area.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will help retain and grow existing accounts and bring in new business in yourdefined regional area in the UK.

To be considered for this role, you will have previous B2B sales experience, preferably in the polymers industry, and a proven track record winning new business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow company revenue by building relationships with existing and new clients and providing the right solution based on needs
  • Identify new product opportunities and gaps in the market, and liaise with internal departments to meet products goals
  • Addressing and resolving customer complaints where required
  • Present complex ranges and negotiate at a senior level

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a B2B Sales/Merchandising environment, preferably within Polymers
  • Proven track record winning new business and growing accounts
  • Sales Training Course completion would be advantageous
  • Preferably degree level educated in Chemistry or related field
