Learning Support Assistant - Oldham


Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for your next challenge? Have you worked in a classroom, or care, social work, or any other relevant backgrounds? Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for passionate and empathetic LSAs towork with children diagnosed with Special Educational Needs.


Tradewind work with a number of mainstream primary schools across Oldham and the OL8 region that need skilled practitioners to support their students.

The positions we have available are currently full-time, supporting needs such as autism, ADHD and speechand language difficulties. Tradewind offer above-market rates of pay, with the daily rate in the region of £75 - £80 per day.


Your duties might include:
Supporting and managing a pupil with additional needs and/or an Educational Health Care Plan

Taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the young people in your care

Working in and outside of the classroom

Liaising with external agencies and professionals

Supporting the school team to provide a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for students to learn

To be successful in the role of Learning Support Assistant, you will:
A caring and nurturing attitude

Have a thorough understanding of supporting pupils with SEND

Provide a CV with employment/education history included. Employment breaks must be explained

Have the legal right to work in the UK.
