Headquartered in London, our client - an international specialty insurance and reinsurance group is seeking a
Senior Compliance and Risk Analyst to join their Risk Management Team on a maternity cover 3 month contract.


As Senior Compliance and Risk Analyst you will be responsible for delivering a wide variety of regulatory and governance related initiatives, many of which will be complex and high profile.

As Senior Compliance and Risk Analyst your
main duties will include:

  • Implementing new regulation by gaining a detailed understanding of the relevant regulation and undertaking gap analyses to understand the action required
  • Developing implementation plans to efficiently deliver regulatory requirements
  • Engaging with the relevant areas of the business to ensure that there is sufficient support and resource to deliver the plan
  • Reporting on progress to the relevant Heads of business
  • Monitoring the completion of regulatory deliverables across the business
  • Assisting the Head of Legal and Compliance and the Company Secretary in developing the company's governance structure and delivering governance projects
  • Delivering the regular review of compliance with Lloyd's Principles for Doing Business and the annual attestation to Lloyd's
  • Assisting in daytoday management of the company's corporate insurance programme
- liaising with the business and with brokers to effect required changes to the programme and ensure an efficient renewal process

  • Engaging in a variety of compliance, governance, and risk related activities

About you:


You will be used to engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation (including up to Board level) and you will have the ability to build effective relationships to enable the timely delivery of initiatives.

You will have relevant experience in project delivery and you will be comfortable presenting to Board committees.

Project management and compliance or governance related experience in an insurance business would be beneficial for this role as is a good workingknowledge of Lloyd's regulation.

You will need to be highly methodical, organised and able to be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work.
