Corinium Language Associates is looking for someone who speaks German to a high level and likes talking to people and finding out what makes them tick.

We want someone to join our friendly team in Cirencester in a hybrid role (possibly part-time), learningto recruit for a variety of multilingual roles for our clients across the UK.

If you are passionate about languages, good on the phone, with a drive to succeed and a positive attitude, this could be the perfect job for you, speaking to people from all aroundthe world, and learning new skills.


This role could be done partly from home, but you must be able to get to the office in Cirencester for initial training and two or three times per week afterwards.


The Role


As we are a small company, everyone supports each other as a team across all sectors of the business: language training, translation, interpreting, marketing and finance, so a willingness to come up with ideas and share responsibility is vital.

You will network and build relationships with existing clients and seek opportunities for new work. This isn't a sales-based role.

You would need to keep up to date with which companies are recruiting and trends in the market and be able to speak to existingand potential clients.


To succeed in this role, you:

  • speak, read and write accurate English to a very high level
- speak and write excellent German
- have experience of UK business culture and of working in office-based roles ideally interacting with customers or account management
- will preferably have lived and worked in a German-speaking country and understand some of the cultural differences between countries
- are self-motivated, organised, can manage and prioritise your own time.
- are confident and professional on the phone, used to working inbound and outbound calls
- have excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office
- must be able to build and maintain relationships with existing and new customers.
- are able to learn new skills


If you have other skills in finance, HR, marketing, sales, writing, intercultural training, translation, interpreting etc, we could potentially make use of and develop them.

Additional language skills in a European language would be very helpful but not essential (we love languages).


About Corinium Language Associates
Corinium Language Associates provide language services for business, including language training, intercultural awareness training, translation and interpreting.

You will be expected to give advice and support to other areas of the business so knowledgein these areas would be helpful.


Our office is based in the middle of Cirencester, just off the A419, and is easily accessible from Swindon, Cheltenham, Lechlade, Stroud and Tetbury.


Salary and pension
Corinium offers £20-28K plus bonus based on commission. 25 days holiday, 4%+4% pension after 3 months and enhanced sick pay after probation.
