Commercial Finance Business Partner / UKI and Nordics

As a Commercial Finance Business Partner, you'll be responsible for leading collaborative effort to drive relevant, flexible, and efficient financial planning and analysis that support the key business decisions in UKI and Nordics.

You will provide a huge impact to demonstrate insight through financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts and to provide practical counsel to drive business results.

You will be expected to quickly get to know the business and the work across the floor.

Your team

Nilfisk is looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to become part of a strong team continuing a transformation journey in the way we support the business.

In your role, you will primarily be daily sparring partner to UKI Head of Sales, and at the same time work close with stakeholders in our sales and service teams covering both UKI and Nordic markets to optimize and develop the business.

The role is based in UK and can be hybrid split between home office and a couple of days a week in our office in Manchester or Penrith (Main office).

There will be daily contact with the teams of UKI and Nordics Sales/Service, Commercial and Operational Finance. Travel 20-30 days a year.

You will a part of the finance business team covering UKI and Nordic and report to Head of Commercial Finance Europe North, who's based in Denmark.

What you'll be doing

• Partnering: Contribute to forming business decisions and enable followup. Daily sparring partner to the commercial organization. Challenge and understand the commercial performance. Assist in evaluating alternative strategies and providing recommendations to the business. Perform adhoc analysis and insights into business based on business needs.
• Performance Management and

Management Reporting:
Drive accurate, timely and aligned reporting of financial, commercial, and operational performance indicators. Act as the analytical anchor point for performance reviews, and drive follow-ups and gaps to plan closure. Challenge the network design and market strategy and drive efficiency across the finance team.

• Forecasting and budgeting: Responsible for the forecasting process, planning and reporting
• Continuous improvement: Drive simplification of reports, analytics tools and automation of reporting.
• Governance and ownership: of financerelated duties within a contractual collaboration with a customer, including partnering with internal and external stakeholders, e.g. representing Finance in the steering committee and providing analysis that influences the decisions during the performance reviews.

What skills & experience you'll bring to us


Furthermore you:

• Have a thorough understanding of finance and a sincere interest in understanding the business to drive performance and value
• Wellstructured with a strong adherence to deadlines
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong integrity and a collaboration mindset that goes well with people at all levels in a global organization
• Are used to and enjoy working in a challenging, fastpaced and changing environment dealing with a lot of different tasks at the same time
• Are highly skilled in Excel and PowerPoint, while experience in BI systems is a plus. Knowledge of SalesForce and SAP ERP is also a plus.
• Are fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Scandinavian language is a plus.
