This role's primary focus is to provide ownership and oversight of the Sharp IT Services Telecom function from a support perspective.

Providing provisioning and delivery of telephony services to our client base. There will also be occasion to provide escalation support to the wider business for areas relating to telephony delivery. Commercial activities do not fall within the scope of this role


Objectives for the role:


  • Ownership of the delivery of all telecom services to our client base
  • Coordination of Porting and managing timescales/project timescales with the client and the internal team
  • Site Survey generation either in person or utilizing the wider team
  • Adherence and governance of the agreed delivery processes within Sharp IT services.
  • Create and maintain accurate technical documentation to promote knowledgesharing with the team and to ensure that clients are effectively supported.
  • Oversight and sole responsibility of the telecom platform ensuring that costs are managed by up to date admin of the billable items.
  • Work collaboratively with the regional team to ensure a consistent client experience.
Produce handover documentation to the internal support and finance teams.


Knowledge & Experience

  • You will ideally have at least 36 months experience of providing Telecom services and consultancy in an MSP, and at least three years' experience of providing IT support.
  • You will have proven experience in supporting the Microsoft 365 Platform, and preferably Microsoft Azure.
  • Ideally have experience of provisioning and supporting VOIP telephony on the Gamma Horizon platform.
  • You may also have knowledge of Networking, Firewalls and general onsite installations of VOIP telephony.

Qualities

  • You will be able but able to approach a problem creatively.
  • You will be able to work independently, and to manage and prioritise your workload to ensure deadlines are met.
  • You will be an articulate verbal and written communicator. You will be able to explain technical challenges and solutions to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • You understand the GDPR data privacy laws within the UK.
