Job Purpose:
Championing student data on the road to success
Focusing on the essential monitoring of students throughout various stages of learning, you will be proactively managing and reporting on important records across all areas of our business.
The Student Records Officer is responsible for assisting the Head of Student Record Quality & Graduation & Senior Student Records Officer in maintaining student's records from the point of registration to conferment of award and assisting with resolution of student queries.
What you'll be doing
- Monitoring and processing changes to the student record from staff, faculty and other
- Maintaining an accurate, central record of information relating to students including
- Accurately monitoring, management and reporting of interruptions of study, transfers,
- Monitoring student module choices and recording the choices on the Student Database.
- Reporting on student data upon request for internal Departments.
- Creating and developing basic reports, using appropriate end user tools.
- Assist with checking criteria for student entry requirements and auditing the validity of offers made by Admissions.
- Letter Production across the UCA Department.
- Helping with the production of ID cards and distribution across various campuses.

- Knowledge of Higher Education sector
- Strong administrative experience (preferably in education)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good problemsolving skills and ability to adapt to change
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to successfully multitask
- Selfmotivated with an ability to thrive under pressure
- Proactive, with the ability to work within a team
- Customerfocused with the ability to communicate at all levels with internal and external stakeholders
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience of working with a recognised Student Records Database and/or relevant systems is ideal
- Good track record of GDPR compliance
- Ideally educated to a degree level relevant work experience will also be considered
