Vacancy - Van Driver / Warehouse Assistant

Location - Nr Farnham, Surrey

Salary - up to circa £25,000 per annum + use of the company van

Working hours

Monday to Friday

7.30am to 5pm - no weekends

Our client is a trade sales business with ambitious plans for further growth.

They are looking for a Van Driver to assist with deliveries for their business.

You will be predominantly working as a delivery driver but may be required to assist in the warehouse where needed.

Responsibilities:

Main duties will be delivery driving in a Long Wheel base, high top van.

Delivery driving across the South East UK (possibly up to Birmingham) as well as Central London deliveries and local work.

Between drops per day depending on locations

Working in the warehouse, goods in, picking and packing orders ready for delivery or collection as required.

Skills & Experience needed

Full UK driving licence with some van delivery driving experience

Manage, meet and exceed customer expectations

The ability to build relationships with a variety of customers

Friendly, articulate, customer focused

Experience within a trade sales environment would be a distinct advantage eg plumbers merchant, builders merchant, electrical wholesale or similar although not essential
