Tate Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a local authority business based in Brighton, looking for a
Strategy and Partnership Officer to join within their Neighbourhood, Communities and Housing department.
- £18.35ph
- 3 month contract
- Full time position
- Remote must attend office for events (Brighton)
You will be reporting to the Strategic Commissioner the post holder will be a key officer in the Domestic Violence, Sexual Violence and Violence against Women and Girls Unit to coordinate, develop and implement plans and strategies aimed at improving the Coordinated Community Response to Domestic Violence, Sexual Violence and Violence against Women and Girls across Brighton & Hove
- A good understanding of Domestic Abuse and VAWG agenda
- Experience and understanding of the MARAC process
- Experience of partnership working
- Understanding of the Public and / or Voluntary sector
- Understanding of the structure, management and decision making processes of a local authority (Two Tier and / or Unitary)
- Knowledge of current legislation, policy and practice developments relating to the DVA, SVA and VAWG
- Knowledge of the needs and experiences of victim/survivors relating to DVA, SVA and VAWG or an equivalent crime type
