Description

The University of Oxford is a stimulating work environment which enjoys an international reputation as a world-class centre of excellence.

Our research plays a key role in tackling many global challenges, from reducing our carbon emissions to developing vaccines during a pandemic.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and highly organised Research Assistant to join us on a Wellcome Trust funded project with colleagues at University College London.

The project aims to deliver a novel mechanistic understanding of anxiety and depression improvement and enhance our ability to maximize these benefits.

The post-holder will contribute to high-quality research activities supporting this project and promote open science and use transparent reporting and data handling practices according to the highest standards.

Being responsible for the day to day administrative duties and the recruitment of young people as participants, they will have excellent interpersonal skills, and an understanding of anxiety problems in young people.

The post-holder will work closely with colleagues at the Department of Psychiatry in Oxford and at University College London. We anticipate they will attend regular meetings at UCL.

The post is full time and initially funded for two years, and will require a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check due to regulated activity involving children.
