Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently deliver packages to businesses
  • Follow delivery routes and time schedules
  • Load and unload packages from delivery vehicle

Day shift Monday to Friday 6.45am - approx. 4pm

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation devices
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the day
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions

The Soft Drink Company Ltd are now recruiting for new staff as we join with SOS Wholesale and continue to grow as part of the RDCP Group.

We specialise in delivering soft drinks, confectionery, crisps and snacks and deliver directly to businesses. All vans are 3.5 ton vans which allow you to drive on a normal drivers license.

The role includes delivering Drinks & Confectionery, Order Picking, Loading Vans and Stock replenishment.

The main areas we cover are South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire, Worksop, Mansfield, Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster supplying to all types of business from small CTN's to Leisure Centres and Theme Parks.


We are looking for someone to join the team who has good customer service skills and can make sure our deliveries are made on time.

During the day you are responsible for making sure the stock on your van is correct before you leave the depot and safe whilst you are out delivering, your paperwork must be completed in full, and all cash collected must be paid into the office at the end of the delivery run.

In the afternoon, you will be picking orders for the following day, re-loading the vans, and working as a team to ensure everyone is ready for the next day's orders to go out.

This is a mixed role delivering stock in the morning and manual warehouse work/loading vans in the afternoon.

This job is not just about the deliveries but also involves interacting with people throughout the working day.

Discussing queries with the customers, calling the team back in the office to find a resolution, sharing knowledge with the warehouse managers, you need good interpersonal skills to succeed and great communication skills.


Fitness and dexterity is important in this role because you need to be able to move, push, load and unload items from the van.

You may need to climb in and out of the van multiple times per day and walk up and down stairs as necessary to deliver the orders.

This is a fast-paced role and you will be expected to meet deadlines for both picking orders and making deliveries once fully trained.
