PROJECTS ADMINISTRATOR

Salary up to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
We have an exciting opportunity to join a small team providing support to a busy construction company. Oakland BE Ltd work throughout the UK delivering varied construction projects.

If you are enthusiastic with a "can do" attitude, organised and used to multi-tasking this might be the role for you Ideally you will be able to start immediately.


The Role:


  • Source best price quotations for plant and materials from new and approved suppliers. Manage lead times and provide supply information to relevant staff for individual projects, materials or services.
  • Raise and issue purchase orders together with associated terms and conditions and subcontractor packages.
  • Undertake project related administrative tasks including preparation of valuations, O&M manuals, H&S files.
  • Provide administrative support to the Project Managers and Estimating Team as required.
  • Administer quality accreditations ensuring annual compliance (ISO 9001, SafeContractor).
  • Responsible for fleet administration, maintaining vehicle records.
  • Assist with office services.

About You:


  • Previous experience and knowledge of working in a similar industry with ISO 900
  • Highly organised with a positive attitude
  • Proven experience of managing your own workload and using own initiative when required
  • Able to work well independently or in a team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbalGood working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Sharepoint and Outlook. Experience of Sage would be an advantage
